Back to PA

Sziasztok! Wow..so sorry it's taken me over a month to update. In case the title doesn't give it away, I'm back in PA. Yesterday officially marked one month being home, which is pretty much impossible for me to believe. As I've told a lot of people, in some ways, it seems like it was all a dream, and in others, it seems as though I was in Hungary for much longer than 3 months. And it ended on a wonderful note, as my mom came over to spend 3 days with me in Budapest, 2 in Vienna, and finally 4 in Germany with our relatives. What a way to go out!
I really can't say enough about my experience. Really. Not only did I learn so much about another country's culture and history, but I also learned a lot about myself. Needless to say, it was the best decision I could have made going to Budapest. So- and this goes for all of you- g.o.a.b.r.o.a.d., even if it's just for a vacation. Listen to people from a culture other than your own, and learn from them; you'll be surprised how much people have to offer.
Thanks so much for reading and for "traveling" along with me over the past couple of months. Whenever someone responds to a story I'm telling and says, "Oh yeah, I read about that on your blog," I can't help but smile. Your support meant and continues to mean so much! Well, I guess it's time to say viszonlatasra for now.......

A typical 'jo reggelt' in Budapest!

Scroll down to #1 (probably have to click on 'older posts; there are 9 videos) to see what a typical morning is like for me!...I realized I always talk about all the big things that happen during the weeks but don't ever share the everyday things. And they're just as fun!
I know I've been slackin on the blog end of things for the past two weeks, but I promise I will update again soon about my memorable last experiences here in BP.
much love,
Val
